Euro predictions


1. Winner: Holland

2. Top Goal scorer: Benzema

 3. Surprise package: Russia (will get to the semis at least)

 4. How far England will get? Quarter finals

5. How far Ireland will get? Will end up on 3 points (goal difference will be their undoing)

6. Crowd Trouble? Can see racism in Ukraine

7. Player who will get a big move out of performances?  Eriksen from Denmark

8. Random prediction: Roy Keane will walk out of tournament as ITV analyst (can see him falling out with Peter Reid or Adrian Chiles)

    5. Quarters. You'll beat Italia
    6. The press has been trying to scare fans in England yet again. The police are to violent for foreigners to kick off. Black England players will get a hammering vs Ukraine
    7. Robert Lewandowski
    8. Potential Q/F between England Vs Ireland will be released on DVD for people suffering with Insomnia.
    Mass amounts of spin from Uefa despite poor attendances and trouble with outdated infrastructure.
    England to complain at the end of tournament about training base. It's the equivalent of staying in Perth for a game in Sydney.

    Solid random predictions there. This will be the last 16 team Euros as well. Poor tournament attendance wise doesn't bode well for France 2016. I don't think they have even got the format yet. How Platini, Blatter keep a grip on World Football is beyond belief. Thats another issue though.

    England have only sold half of allocation for the three group games. Had we been playing in Poland I think it would've been a lot different but the logistics of playing in Ukraine just seems to difficult. Ukraine runs a different gauge railway track to he rest of Europe so when trying to rail it from you face something like a five hour wait. Also the hotel situation has been shocking.

    As far as I'm aware the next tournament will have the same format as USA 94 with 6x4 groups. The top two will proceed along with the 4 best third place teams. It will be possible to proceed with 2 points provided goal difference isn't too bad. I love the fact that the euros will be so competitive from the start with some tight groups but Platini decided he'd like to ruin that. I've had a rant about this before and my main worry was qualifying.

    4. How far England will get? Lose to France, Draw with Sweden, Beat Ukraine. Lose to Spain in the quarters.

    5. How far Ireland will get? Lose to France by a handball in the quarters.

    6. Crowd Trouble? Racism in Ukraine. Their fans to go on the rampage as their team get twatted by France, Sweden and lose narrowly to England.

    7. Player who will get a big move out of performances? Dsagojew, Piszczek

    8. Random prediction: Me to fall out with Yvonne due to the amount of games I intend to watch. Roy to bring the face rub to the international arena.

    Will be sad to see the current format binned. Hope it can live upto '08 but it'll be a tough act to follow.
